In this part of the project the students are going to learn about the defense towers.And also the are going to make a tower with mud.

The 2nd class of primary visited the church of our local area.It was fantastic!! the children discovered a historic treasure.The churches were defense buildings and inside them there are secret passages, canons,tiny windows and double walls to protect against invaders.

This is the first powerpoint of our project you can find some information for interacting with the students about the coast and the churches of ibiza.

Our next project is a journey through the architecrue of ibiza.We have started painting ibiza's coast:the beach the cliffs, the rocks,the blue sea and sky etc.

Our next project is about the magic sunsets of Café del Mar in Ibiza.
The idea was to paint a sunset listening to music of a wonderful flamenco guitarrist Paco Fernández.sunset on PhotoPeach

Today the children have enjoyed a day full of artistic creations.Three schools:C.P. Can Cantó, C.P. puig d'en Valls and C.P Cervantes have organised a workshop with Art activities.the children have learnt different technics and also they have met friends from other schools, and the most important the language that we used was English. Our next project is about Architecture.I have choosen Antonio Gaudí an Spanish architect, one of mos important modernist architects in the history.The children will learn about him through the powerpoint, after that the will do an Artactivity.

After watching a video and learning more information about Copenhagen through a powerpoint the students work as a big team collaborating in a big picture recreating the city.Have a look:

We have choosen Copenaghen, because is a beatiful city.First of all the students have watched a video.

In this activity has participated the families of the students, creating at home these pictures with their children.I gave them geomatrical shapes and they have made a fantastic picture.Now the students have realised that with the same material,it has appeared different creative ideas.cubist picture on PhotoPeach

First I took portrait photos of the pupils.Then using Word application I removed the colour so that the photos were in black and white. Then I printed the pictures off in A3 size. I distributed the photos out among the students so that they all had someone else's picture. The children then painted the pictures in water colours in the Impressionist style. This was all inspired by the work of Olga Bonanski.

The Kids have finished their tridimensional cubist picture made of carboard boxes.

The students have drawn geometrical shapes on the boxes, after that they have coloured the boxes like they wanted.In the next classes We will build up a big picture with all the boxes.

For this activity I have wrapped cardboard boxes with white paper, after that my students have decorated the boxes with different geometrical shapes.Have a look! In the next classes they will paint the boxes with lots of colours.

The children after drawing the pictures they have cut them in different pieces.After that they have paste them on a long piece of paper, making a colorful cubist poster.

The children after watching the video of Sonia Delaunay are drawing pictures similar to the Artist with wooden geometrical shapes.

In the next power point we are going to see a brief explanation about our artist and the cubist style.

The children are making an artistic and creative caterpillar, they have used different art materials.Have a look!

The children are making a caterpillar: 1st.- They draw circles on a piece of paper using a plastic glass after that, they colour the circles like they want using lots of clolours. 2nd.-the children cut out the circles and stick them . 3rd.- The children draw the legs and paste them on the caterpillar.HAVE A LOOK TO THEIR CREATIONS.
